Diane is an excellent community development worker who successfully helped set up and managed a number of projects when she was employed with us showing great organisational ability and a gift for bringing partner organisations together to develop community projects. More recently, as a Trustee, she has been invaluable in developing and refining our strategy for seeing transformation in our local community.

Diane was involved in
the initial community
engagement process
out of which was
birthed Tollcross
Community Action
Network, and was
pivotal in the
development of TCAN
and especially the community hub.
The community conversations which we held at the very beginning of the process were taken by Diane who had a wealth of experience to draw on and who effortlessly allowed folk space to talk and air ideas whilst at the same time she kept the focus on the outcome. If Diane had not been involved for the last year and a bit in TCAN as an advisor I doubt whether we would have come so far with the development of the Community Hub. The Hub now has a CAB surgery for a couple of hours each Thursday morning thanks to a funding grant applied for by Diane.
She has a real and in depth understanding of the landscape of community engagement and is exceedingly well placed to give advice to those as to how to tap into what might be available.
